A Sunday Times columist made a point worth remembering:


As much as I've always maintained that a diary is mine and no one has a right to read it, this point of view sort of makes more sense.

I heartily concur with this viewpoint. However, there are certain folk who dont.

But, you know what they say, least said, soonest mended ...

A diary published is public, eg a blog. Something written down may be made real, but it is not made public. Public means just that - freely available to the populace at large, not something that could be read by adopting Rupert Murdochian means. It stands to reason that the point of view expressed comes from a Murdoch publication!
