Fridays girl is full of snot

I've got the snots.

Granted, after work leaving drinks with my soon to be ex-colleagues didn't help matters, and neither did agreeing to wonder around Shoreditch with my Partner in Breakup afterwards, who, it has to be said, was accompanied by the bloke she got her name from. I should really change that. Not that they're together, or apart, they just kind of...are. Unlike me, who is apparently "married".

Anyway, after a bit of bar-hopping and table football with those two, who should just go and make babies (as in, babies that still enable the parents to go out and party on down. Non-fun-sapping babies, babies who don't need looking after. Crackden babies? No, that's wrong), I eventually went home.

Not because I'm "married", but because I had stuff to do.

But at 11:30pm, with three glasses of wine and a G&T inside me, unsurprisingly I didn't complete the sample article for The Writer due today, nor did I pack any clothes for the coming week of Flat And Cat Sitting; more just scattered an assortment of belongings along one side of my room, and nor did I feed my rumbling belly anything of substance, unless you count ravaging through half a pack of Tesco Finest honey roasted ham - some of which I dropped on the floor and fed to the doggles.

I did, however, set my alarm and go to bed.

Waking up with an almighty case of the Snot Face this morning at 7:30am.

Which I will, later today, be using to charm a Producer into hiring me. For I have an interview elsewhere in the Company, for a job I would really quite like to get.

Hopefully a girl with a running nose, a tendency to sneeze unannounced, who sounds a little bit like Morla the Ancient One (The Never Ending Story, anyone? anyone? No? No.) but with Halls Soother breath and a soggy wet tissue, will be exactly what they're looking for.

I leave you with the eternal words of Winnie the Pooh:

"Oh, bother".

I used to love going to Cafe Kick! Fortunately, my new job has a table (foosball, as they call it over here) outside my office.

Good luck with the interview....

Good luck with the interview! Too bad the snot nose didn't drain and give you a super husky, sexy voice. No producer could have turned that down. :)

Fingers crossed you get good news following the interview.

Thanks you lot. The interview went alright, I think, but hard to tell as they gave absolutely nothing away. It was all very professional!

I did refrain from sneezing on their shoes, though.

They will be letting me know this week.
