I have returned to England, wet, soggy, stationary-car laiden (particularly on the m25 last night), much-the-same-as-northern-France, England.
We had funtimes.

Anyway. Just letting you know that you can get the welcome home party started now, while I see what you lot have all had to say over the past week.

(And eat a full English brekky)

Thanks both. You'll be happy to know my French is vastly improved, too.

"Regardez! Un petit cochon ala maison de vin!"

"Look! A small pig in the wine house!"

"Missing the Sea
Ships leave the island,
Ships arrive at the island…
—The island is a ship
that ran ashore
in the middle of the ocean
and covered itself with sea mist
and penetrated itself with ocean smell
and became accustomed to being
the ridge of a wave…
I left on a ship…
now I feel the emptiness
of missing the sea…
without the sea, all is borders
and the borders choke me…"

Champagne? Madmoiselle Josephine.
_ No, I'll rather have a pint once I'm back. Better!a Port Wine to celebrate.

Ooh mais la France est toujours la France...

"Regardez! Un petit cochon a la maison du vin!"

Porque en la france nous avons que parler fran├žais.

They make all efforts not to speak and understand English.

Please only post postive things about the UK from now on... My interest in moving there is waning. I need all the encouragement I can get right now!! :)

Loving your french pig phrase too.
